A big, big picture book full of one, eensie-weensie, magical, hairy hobbit just doin' stuff. But I don't want the special edition pop-up book, though....it will scare Grandma at story time. K...thanks!
Several new photos of Dan Radcliffe from Tim Hailand's upcoming book, One Day in the Life of Daniel Radcliffe, have been released.
Tim announced on his Twitter that the book will be out in the US on December 15, 2009, and in the UK on December 21th.

 Braving the cold in the name of art, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis were spotted working on their new film “Black Swan” in New York City today (November 8). The “Garden State” gal and her “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” mate looked a bit chilly as they filmed scenes outdoors in downtown Manhattan along with costar Stan Sebastian. In the film, Natalie plays Nina, a veteran ballerina who finds herself locked into a competitive showdown with a rival dancer named Lily, played by Mila. And of course, the big news is that Mila and Natalie share an onscreen kiss. In addition, the film also stars Vincent Cassel and Winona Ryder. ( +++++++++++++++++ )

| Zach Gilford says goodbye to 'Friday Night Lights' -- for now |

A few weeks ago, Zach Gilford was in Los Angeles watching "Friday Night Lights" with his girlfriend. No longer with the cast and crew of the series in Austin, Texas, Gilford reacted to a powerful final moment in the show. After a speech from Kyle Chandler's Coach Eric Taylor, Gilford swore.
Recalls Gilford, "I literally said to my girlfriend: ‘This is such a good show. I’m [angry] to be leaving.’ It makes sense for my character, but it’s so quality, and it’s so fun to work on."
Gilford's Matt Saracen, the everyman hero of "Friday Night Lights," will make his exit from the fictional town of Dillon, Texas, on tonight's episode of the series. But those who go through withdrawal won't have to wait too long, as Saracen makes a brief appearance in two more episodes this season, which is airing Wednesday nights on DirecTV's 101 Network and will debut in 2010 on NBC.
Since making the jump to DirecTV last year, "Friday Night Lights" has said goodbye to a number of favorites. Characters such as Brian "Smash" Williams (Gaius Charles) and Jason Street (Scott Porter) earned grand farewells in Season 3, and Saracen has received a pair of showcase episodes this year. In a heart-wrenching episode last week, Saracen came to grips with the death of his father, who traded family for the military, and returned to Dillon as a brutally mauled corpse.
It presented some acting challenges, discussed below, for Gilford, who's Saracen has stood out in the depressed, football-obsessed town for his sheer ordinariness -- a hard-working good guy who isn't so sure about spending his life in the same town. Gilford's character is also one who's learned to repress his emotions, and Saracen has a breakthrough tonight, realizing that putting college on hold may not have been the brightest of ideas. He bolts Austin without a proper on-screen goodbye to his best friend, Jesse Plemons' Landry.
Before heading back to Texas to film this season's finale, Gilford spoke to Show Tracker, and taught us what it means to "'FNL' it."

Always up for a star studded affair, Taylor Swift attended the launch of VEVO at Skylight Studio in New York City last night (December 8).
Joining in on the fun was musician, John Mayer, who was seen chatting it up in a booth with the country singing cutie.
ayer recently shared his appreciation of down-to-earth Swift, telling Access Hollywood, “It’s great to have someone who’s hugely talented and still is able to receive the pleasure in all moments.”
Also making an appearance at the event was Rihanna, who looked absolutely gorgeous in a black suit, and looked to be in great spirits.

Brace yourselves, theatre buffs! Following in the footsteps of Kristin Chenoweth and Jonathan Groff, Tony winner Idina Menzel is in advanced talks to join the cast of Glee!
But — and yes, there is a but — she won’t be playing Rachel’s mother, as we all assumed. If the deal goes through, she’ll be playing the choir director for New Directions’ rivals, Vocal Adrenaline.
So how psyched are you? And how hard are you suddenly hoping that Chenoweth will return as April in an episode that would allow her to team up once again with her former Wicked castmate? Let the cheering commence below.

'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' reruns coming to MTV next month
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the classic 1997-2003 The WB series (and later UPN) starring Sarah Michelle Gellar will join the Viacom owned MTV and also sister network Logo in January 2010. Reruns of the series will first launch on Logo on New Year's Day with a 16-hour marathon running from 6am to 12am; on January 4, reruns will air regularly on Logo back to back Weeknights at 6pm and 7pm (repeating at 2am and 3am) and Friday nights at 9pm and 10pm. MTV will begin airing the series on January 10 with an 8-hour marathon beginning at 11am. The following day, Buffy will start kicking vampire butt every weekday at 11am, following Grounded for Life and Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Lindsay Lohan is not in Kansas anymore. The actress is currently in India and RadarOnline.com has the exclusive details on her exotic trip which is off to a rocky start.
“She is a little overwhelmed and a little freaked out,” a source tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Lindsay is trying to be a trooper but the whole experience is a little scary.”
Flanked by friend Patrick Aufdenkamp and her bodyguard, Lohan is primarily nervous about the lack of man power around. “There is still unrest in India and her celebrity makes her vulnerable,” the source added. “There isn’t much security there in general.”
While the trip was originally set up through philanthropist Scott Lazerson’s Interface Foundation, RadarOnline.com has learned that Lohan is on the trip with a UK-based production company seeking to do a documentary on human trafficking.
Publicly, Lohan is putting on a brave face.
“Going to make one of my lifelong dreams on my list of things to do in this lifetime!!!!! Wish me luck! Fill you guys in when I return to USA,” she wrote on her Twitter page. “Over 40 children saved so far...... Within one day's work...... This is what life is about..... Doing THIS is a life worth living!!! Oh, and I'm talking about being in India.”

These days, Kelis is pulling double duty as a new mother and veteran songstress. With her four-month old infant Knight in tow, the 30-year-old Harlem native is stepping back in the booth for her fifth album. Only this time, she’s talking about life’s intricacies rather than her “milkshake.”
Her first single, the techno-infused “Acapella,” is replete with personal and uplifting sentiments. “It’s about my son, it’s about the love of God,” she reveals to Rap-Up.com. “It’s kinda about the power of life, really.” David Guetta, the track’s producer, initially approached Kelis for another project. “He wanted me to be a part of his record, [One Love], and it just didn’t end up working out,” says Kelis. “Then I fell in love with some tracks that he had sent me. I ended up writing ['Acapella'] for my album.”
Though she’s the sole star shining with no guest appearances yet to speak of, Kelis did tap several well-respected producers to round out her fifth opus. “I worked with Boys Noize, Jean Baptiste, Diplo and Switch, Burnz, [and] this cat named Replay,” she states. “I have a nice, eclectic group of guys there.”
One song to look forward to is the Jean Baptiste-produced record “Carefree Americans.” According to Kelis, “super-size me” is the motto of the nation. “It’s kinda like the back and forth between what we know that’s wrong with Americans and being in America, yet the things we love about it,” she continues, “and at the end of the day we don’t really sacrifice that much. I put myself in it as well; we are Americans and we like everything super-sized.”
For an album housing tunes designed for the dance floor, fans are guaranteed to perspire. “It’s an album you can get sweaty to,” Kelis says with a laugh. “[The album is] called Fleshtones. But don’t hold me to that. I’ve been feeling animalistic and kind of carnal in my approach to things lately. It sort of seems fit.”
OMFG why can't it be released sooner god damn. the title is... interesting.

End of the Decade: "Sound of the Underground"
Pop music since the turn of the century has been more exciting, more subversive, more forward-thinking and more downright danceable than ever.
When they predicted back in the '80s that pop would eat itself, they weren't wrong. What they didn't realise was that by feeding on its own internal organs, pop would only make itself stronger.
In 2002, when Girls Aloud won Popstars: The Rivals, reality TV was still in its fairly early days. Big Brother was only in its third series and the country was already well over the hysteria and subsequent undignified demise of original Popstars winner Hear'Say, but we hadn't quite reached the relentless conveyor belt of moon-faced idiots and exploitative freakery the genre ultimately descended to. It could still surprise you. That said, nothing could have prepared us for the Girls' "Sound of the Underground".
